A generous and lifelong learner, Rosy openly shares her time, knowledge, and skills with others. She believes that creativity is not just a talent, but a tool for healing, connection, and discovery. See something you love that is already sold or got something specific in mind that you would like to have done”.  Talk to us about commissioning.  Original Art never ends up being a duplicate or exactly photo-realistic, but if you tell us about your space, favourite colours, and what you love, we may be able to create that perfect piece for you.  If it is for a surprise please make sure we know not to mention anywhere it until after the surprise date.   Got an idea for something other than a canvas?  I can say I have been invited to paint a cello for a music room, and to give someone’s mailbox a magnificent makeover but neither of these jobs are finished yet so no pics.  (see copy of agreement/checklist attached – probably not “saleable” wording but perhaps a little prompter about things to consider for a commission request).

Got a beautiful commercial space that needs some Arty help?  Talk to us about ‘borrowing our art and offering it for sale or leasing it for your space?   We will help curate items that “suit” and install it for you.

See something you love but need to save up?  No worries you can …. layby an original piece, or commission something smaller or less “complex”;  or buy a limited edition print.   Just ask.

Joyful Simplicity

Growing up on a small orchard in Stanthorpe during the 1960s, creativity was woven into the fabric of daily life. With my mother, grandmother, and aunt all gifted musicians, the home was filled with music and handmade joy. Every form of artistic expression was encouraged, and I explored many—piano, violin, dance, and especially singing.

But it was watercolour that truly captured my heart. It was my first visual medium and remains my most beloved. For me, painting and drawing are more than hobbies—they are healing practices, ways to centre myself, build resilience, and express the beauty I see and feel.

My aim—both in life and in art—is to embrace joyful simplicity. I paint to connect, to uplift, and to share the transformative power of creativity with others. As Hans Hofmann once said, “The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak.” That is what I strive for with every brushstroke.
