Remembering those who serve has been an Australian tradition since the armistice of 1918.  The design for this print was created on 11 November 2011,  just after a colleague was killed in Afghanistan.

It has the following elements – The chosen shade of red represents Flanders Poppies.    The capsule shape represents the Opium Poppies from battlefields of today, and Gallipoli.

Original artwork a lino print with hand-inked overdrawing.
